Hello doctor, My ultrasound report shows that Liver is normal in size but Parenchymal architecture is bright . No focal lesion is detected. The report comments is Fatty change in Liver ( grade-01) . l am nonalchoholic. Is it life threatening? How can I manage it? Plz advise me.
Yes. The commonest cause of fatty liver is alcohol intake. so if you are not alcoholic and you have not taken any alcohol for the last 24hrs prior to the tests then it's not alcohol induced. The other causes include drugs. Obesity. diet of fatty foods It's necesary to follow the aim these to know the cause. Further Other liver function tests tests are necessary. LFTs
